Michael Dorn is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Director of the Addictions Recovery Program at the Florida Hypnosis Clinics. He works with a wide range of issues, not only in the area of addictions, but also in the areas of weight loss, smoking cessation, emotional and physical pain and current and past traumas.
After running a multi-million dollar business for over 40 years built on the strength of personal relationships, Michael had countless first hand experiences showcasing the mind’s abilities to either move us toward success or create problems and sabotage our best efforts. What was the difference between what caused one person’s mind to practically guarantee them success and another’s in the same situation to work against them? Needing to know the answers, Michael delved into Hypnotherapy. After attending some of the top schools in the country in Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching, and NLP, he decided it was time to spend the rest of his life helping others.
Believing that we can best help others to overcome in areas in which we have found personal victory, Michael specializes in addiction recovery and runs the Addiction Recovery Program throughout all of our Florida Clinics. After having been addicted to drugs and going through the 12 step Narcotics Anonymous program he realized that, while it saved his life, their were shortcomings in that program and many other similar programs that cause them to not work for many of the people that choose to participate.
Believing a multi-discipline approach could create the best results, Michael combined Hypnotherapy, Addictions Recovery Coaching, NLP, all of the learnings of a traditional meeting-based approach, and the life time of personal experiences that lead to his own personal victory over substance abuse, to create one of the most powerful addictions recovery programs in the country.
